Maynard Lee Slothower
Maynard Lee Slothower, 12/19/1924 - 6/13/2011, passed away peacefully at his home in Alpine, UT. Lee was born in Millwood, WA to Floyd and Faye Slothower. He was a true entertainer, not only headlining in Las Vegas but performing for the soldiers in WWII and Vietnam, and recently playing for several retirement homes including the Charleston. He brought joy to many through his talent on the piano and his witty humor. He was a decorated veteran of World War II and will have full military honors at his burial in the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetary Park in Bluffdale, UT. His memorial service will be held Monday, June 20th at 11:00am at the Fort Canyon Chapel on Heritage Dr. in Alpine, UT. He is survived by his seven children, Tangi Pearson, Dennis Slothower, Karla Faulk, Melody Slothower, Kim Buhler, Wynn Slothower, and Kalani Slothower. He will be missed dearly.
